Saturday Night Live skewered Donald Trump and racists for Donald Trump on their March 5 episode.

The cold open of the episode began with a mock-CNN report.  A quick spoof of Donald Trump, portrayed by Darrell Hammond, kicked things off.  “Trump” began:

“The media’s saying they haven’t seen anything like this, not since Germany in the 1930s.  I mean everyone loves me: Racists, ugly racists, people who didn’t even know they were racist.”

But, that sketch took on everybody involved who made headlines related to the 2016 presidential election last week.  Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, Chris Christie, and more all absorbed shots from the opening sketch.

The big blow to Trump came later.

Saturday Night Live aired a recorded campaign commercial spoof from the possibly made-up PAC, Racists For Donald Trump.  Several Americans (Taran Killam, Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, Aidy Bryant, Beck Bennett, Kyle Mooney) offered their insight into why they’ll be voting for Donald Trump.

As of Monday afternoon, the video has over 2 million view on YouTube.  More than 5,600 comments have been made.  More than 5,600 horrific comments.

On Facebook, the video has received more than 400,000 shares.  There are more than 35,000 comments on the Saturday Night Live Facebook page.  But, some of those aren’t terrible.  Including this one, “I like how ‘he speaks his mind’ is always one of his supporters’ main points. So does a 5 year-old, it doesn’t mean that they should run the country.  Is a little bit of nuance too much to ask for?”
