Meet Melissa.  She is a spunky terrier mix available for adoption from Paws4ever.

Melissa is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs around 25 pounds.  She is great with other dogs, but can be a little shy.

Let the fine folks at Paws4ever and Melissa tell you more:

“Hi, I’m Melissa! I’m a silly, spunky, squirmy little girl with lots of energy and love to give. I briefly lived in a home before being rescued, so I know some basic commands like “sit” and “down,” but still need to learn my manners. I love to run around, and I can go really fast, but sometimes I need help learning how to slow down or not run into you. I also love belly rubs, and will randomly just wiggle around on my back like a silly little wiggle worm. I would love to find an active family (without cats) willing to help me learn a few things, and I promise to be a great student and your new best friend.”

Melissa came to Paws4ever from a Burlington shelter.  She’s been there for about a month.

Paws4ever will be hosting PawsFest on Sunday, October 9.  Get your tickets now.
