Today is Tuesday, December 29, 2015.  Evidently, it costs a lot of money to save Matt Damon.  We also hear more about that “affluenza” teen and dogs don’t like baths.

Saving Matt Damon

We’ve all seen “Saving Private Ryan.”  Tom Hanks and his crew search for Matt Damon.

But, that wasn’t the first time there was a need to rescue Matt Damon in a movie.  It certainly wasn’t the last.

From “Courage Under Fire” to his most recent film, “The Martian,” Matt Damon is always getting saved in movies.  These efforts cost money.  Well, they would cost money if they were real life.  So, a person has put together the actual cost, in dollars, of how much money it would take to pull off these searches.

The total cost of all of the operations is $900 billion.

“The Martian” operation would cost $200 billion and that’s not even the biggest expense.  The “Interstellar” situation would be a $500 billion plan.

Affluenza

Do you know Ethan Couch?

He’s the “affluenza” kid.  Couch is serving 10 years probation for intoxication manslaughter of a 2013 incident.  A psychologist said he was so wealthy and spoiled he could not tell the difference between right and wrong.

Well, he and his mother, Tonya Couch, 48, disappeared this month, prompting officials in Tarrant County, Texas, to place the teen on the county’s most wanted list and issue a warrant for his apprehension.
