Fans of James Taylor will rejoice as his childhood home is open again for tours due to popular demand. The surprises do not end there as the house will also be auctioned off for those who want to own the property.

The North Carolina Modernist Houses non-profit organization is starting tours from nine o’clock until noon on Saturday, July 2. Tickets for specific time slots are on sale for $7.

After 900 people attended the first tour on June 4, the tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

“I can’t tell you how many phone calls and emails I’ve received from folks who didn’t secure tickets for the first tour before it was sold out,” said George Smart, executive director of NCMH, in a release.

The house will be auctioned on June 29. Sealed bids are due by three o’clock on that day. The top three bidders will be invited to participate in a second round of bidding that will determine the winner.
