Duke University Police are investigating an early-morning robbery.
A message sent to the campus community says that a student reported being robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of Wannamaker Drive and Chapel Drive around one o’clock Monday morning.
The message says two suspects approached the student and pulled out chrome handguns. The suspects then fled in a red truck or SUV after taking several personal items, according to the report.
Police say no injuries were reported.
Officials are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Duke University Police at (919) 684 – 2444 and to report any suspicious activity by calling 911.
