Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appears to be maintaining a slim lead among likely North Carolina voters over Republican Donald Trump.

With less than two weeks until Election Day, a new Quinnipiac University poll shows Clinton with a 47/43 lead over Trump in North Carolina.

Voters in the Tar Heel state still have a net negative favorability of Clinton at 44/52, but Trump’s negative score checks in at 34/59, according to the survey.

“In North Carolina the fight is between the combination of a favorable gender gap and greater party unity among Democrats for Hillary Clinton, matched against Donald Trump’s double-digit edge among independent voters. So far, her supporters are narrowly ahead,” Quinnipiac University Poll assistant director Peter A. Brown said.

With early voting underway in North Carolina, Quinnipiac is reporting Clinton holds a 62/34 lead among respondents who have already voted in the Tar Heel state, which lines up with other numbers released earlier in the week.

The North Carolina results were released as part of a survey of four swing states including Iowa, Ohio and Virginia in addition to North Carolina.

North Carolina has been called a “must-have state” if Trump is going to win the White House.

Clinton has pulled even with Trump in Georgia and Iowa, according to the poll. Meanwhile, Clinton is “pounding Trump” in Virginia.
