Chapel Hill Police are looking for information regarding a suspect in a reported domestic assault.

Chapel Hill Police are asking for information regarding the whereabouts of 27-year-old Kevin Tyler Schuster.

Authorities say officers responded to a reported domestic assault around 3:30 on Saturday afternoon on Hillview Road in Chapel Hill.

Several warrants were issued as a result of the assault, according to police, including felony assault by strangulation and kidnapping.

Police believe Schuster may be in the Chapel Hill or Hillsborough area and could possibly be armed.

Schuster is described as a 27-year-old white male, 5’ 11” and has a medium build.

Police say Schuster left the area in a gold 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with NC Registration ZZN3937.

The victim in the case was reportedly transported to the UNC Emergency Department with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
