Chapel Hill Police have obtained warrants for three suspects in connection with a series of larcenies.

The larcenies were committed at multiple retail locations around Chapel Hill between September 2015 and January 2016, according to a release.

Police are looking for Coy Lamonte Saunders, Theodore Martin Jr., and Desmond Elpedia Collins.

Saunders is charged with three counts of felony larceny from a merchant and three counts of felony conspiracy to commit larceny. Martin and Collins are each charged with one count of felony larceny from a merchant and one count of felony conspiracy to commit larceny.

Chapel Hill Police Lieutenant Josh Mecimore says that several of the larcenies have occurred in the Eastgate and Ram’s Plaza shopping centers. He says the larcenies have occurred during store hours

Police say the suspects have been driving a red 2002 Dodge Ram truck with a flat red bedcover.

Mecimore says additional charges may be filed by Chapel Hill Police and other agencies once the suspects are in custody.
