What a yummy summer it’s been on the fashion front.

The cold shoulder trend still remains huge. Shoulder-baring is sexy without being obvious and stylish chic without being too attention-grabbing. It’s a breezy summer look for any age that you see in tops, rompers and dresses.

The denim mini is back. Still have yours tucked in the recesses of your closet? If so, pull it out and wear it now!

The lace-up look prevails in everything from shoes to tops to dresses and more. This is my favorite summer trend. Keep lacing it up!

Tie-dye returns in more sophisticated shapes and shades. It’s not just for Grateful Dead t-shirts and hippies anymore.

Athletic insignia pieces are all the rage. Fashionistas are sporting logos from Adidas to Nike and Fila. I predict the Rio Summer Olympics has an influence on that trend. Get your sport on!

August is ripe for end of season sales and back-to-school bargains. Better stock up on some discounted summer essentials, and get that vaycay in while you’ve still got time. Summer in the South lingers, so continue to step out in style!
