The Monti is an organization whose mission is to create community through the telling of stories. Jeff discusses how the concept got started, why the Monti holds events throughout the Triangle, and some of his favorite stories.

This week, Brad Porter is joined by jazz musician Brad Linde. Brad’s band Raptor Billy will perform at the Carrboro ArtsCenter on Tuesday March 17. Under the direction of Vijay Iyer, Raptor Billy composes and improvises new music with diverse influences from jazz, 20th Century Classical music and various cultures.
