Student Sculpture and Photography Exhibition Reception April 27, 2014 Sunday, 4-6PM   “Work in Progress” documents an artists-in-residency project at Phillips Middle School in Chapel Hill.  Artists Mark Elliott (sculptor) and Barbara Tyroler (photographer) collaborated with Phillips Middle School art students in the creation and documentation of a permanent outdoor sculpture to be installed on school grounds. Students learned basic design and construction techniques of scale model building as they created maquettes of their own unique visions.  The entire process was documented in…
