Come support your community and local refugee farmers as we launch our first Farmers Market! Farmers will offer their own fresh, locally-grown American and Southeast Asian produce. We will accept SNAP benefits and provide .50 for every dollar spent using your EBT card. Transplanting Traditions Community Farm is a non-profit educational farm that trains refugees in N.C. the skills they need to start their own sustainable farm operations. This 3-acre teaching farm hosts 31 Karen refugee families. The farm is located just outside of Carrboro on Jones Ferry Rd.
