New Year’s Eve Farm Dinner

Start your New Year’s Eve celebration at The Root Cellar in Chapel Hill with a special four-course farm dinner, with champagne wine pairing. Enjoy a menu of spicy wood-fired oysters; kale salad with bacon, pears, chèvre, tossed in a pomegranate vinaigrette; cornbread with honey-whipped butter; Seven Springs’ pork loin, stuffed with champagne-soaked figs, apples and raisins; Hoppin’ John; winter greens of turnips, collards and mustard with smoked ham hocks; and triple chocolate cake, with Grand Mariner chocolate ganache and macerated raspberries.
