McIntye’s Books of Fearrington Village is celebrating the work of another great author on Friday, October 4th. In 2013 a new documentary, In So Many Words, based on the life of Lucy Daniels was released by documentarian Elisabeth Haviland James at the Full Frame Film Festival. In So Many Words follows Lucy Daniels’ life from living in mental institutions suffering from anorexia through to her current career as a psychologist. Elizabeth Haviland James, an Oscar shortlisted documentarian and creator of the film, credits Daniels’ survival to psychoanalysis and finding her creative voice.
The film will be shown at 6:30pm at McIntyre’s Books at Fearrington Village, which is located just south of Chapel Hill.
Admission is only five dollars; proceeds are for fund raising.
