We are very honored to be pairing with Michelle of the North Carolina Museum of History in celebration of the opening of the Tsars’ Cabinet exhibit. The Tsars’ Cabinet illustrates two hundred years of Russian decorative arts from the time of Peter the Great in the early 18th century to that of Nicholas II in the early 20th century. Many of the pieces in the exhibition were designed for the use of the Tsars or other Romanovs. Others are indicative of the styles that were prominent during their reigns. While many are in forms to be used everyday, they demonstrate the richness of Russia during the long reign of the Romanovs. Join us this evening for an informative lecture on the exhibit and some delicious Russian dishes demonstrated and served by our Cooking School Staff.
