Sponsored by the Furlow Fund at UNC School of Medicine, the 3rd Annual Smiling Faces Benefit Dinner is a great event to raise awareness and funding for the Palestinian Cleft Society. The event is being held Monday, October 7th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at the UNC FedEx Global Education Building, a beautiful structure on Carolina’s southwest corner of campus off Pittsboro and Macaulay Street. Tickets range from $15 for students to $35 for all others, and are available at the door or online at www.furlowfund.org.
The mission of the Palestinian Cleft Society is to provide timely, compassionate, and comprehensive surgical and dental care for Palestinian children with craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate.
To date, we have provided over 1,150 surgeries free of charge through the generous donations of people like you.

What your donation will do:
$20 –Arm restraints for children after surgery
$40 –Medicine for one surgery
$50 –Sutures for surgery
$100 –Drains, tubes, and medicine for ear reconstruction
$250 –Cleft Lip surgery for one child
$500 –Cleft lip and palate surgery for one child
$1,000 –Staged ear reconstruction for children with an absent ear
$3,000 –Total cost for one volunteer to Palestine for 2 weeks
