Total Blankets Needed = 300 by Dec 7
Please help us keep our neighbors warm. The 10th Annual drive to Blanket Orange County begins on Thurs, Nov 21. This year, the goal is to collect 300 new or gently used blankets for the homeless in Orange County. The drive will conclude on Dec 7. Preference is for single/twin size blankets.
Once again, H2Only Cleaners in Southern Village is serving as a blanket drop-off location. Other drop-off sites are the Aloft Hotel, Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Orange County Visitor’s Center, UNC Wellness Center and UPS Stores (Meadowmont and 15-501).

“The Inter-Faith Council (IFC) has come to rely on Blanket Orange County as our primary partner in providing blankets to both sheltered and unsheltered people living in Orange County. Our limited budget for items like blankets would never stretch far enough to meet the need without this invaluable project.
We start getting requests for blankets as soon as the first few days of cold weather descend upon the area. Not only do we distribute the blankets we receive from Blanket Orange County to our clients and residents, but we also share with some of the other organizations working with populations who are at risk.
Your gift of a warm blanket to Blanket Orange County is greatly appreciated. When the weather turns cold outside and you are warm in your bed at the end of the day, you can feel good knowing you helped make sure your neighbors were warm as well.
