As January opens the new year, Women’s Voices Chorus presents intriguing music about origins and new beginnings, featuring stirring pieces about the birth of the Suffragette, Civil Rights, and Gay Rights Movements. We’ll sing both sacred and secular music, including works by Britten, Victoria, and contemporary female composers Lana Walter, Patricia Van Ness, Joan Szmko, and Rosephanye Powell.
