A last-second layup sent UNC Women’s Basketball’s second game in the Cancun Challenge to overtime, and the Tar Heels couldn’t get anything going in the extra frame dropping their second game of the season, 94-81, to the Arizona State Sun Devils.
“We were playing Texas A&M, and she stepped wrong and developed a high-ankle sprain,” UNC head coach, Anson Dorrance says. “Unfortunately she’s back on the injured list; we’re not sure about her ability to play this weekend.”
