Adopt Natasha: A Lively New Friend

Remember Boris? Today’s Adopt-a-Pet is his running buddy Natasha (any Rocky and Bullwinkle fans out there?). They grew up together in Chatham County, running around the countryside. Natasha is a big, strong hound/lab mix, full of love and energy. She’s only three years old and fully housebroken, so she’d be a great dog for an owner who doesn’t want to train up a puppy. To bring her into your life, visit paws4ever.org. And while you’re there, don’t forget her friend Boris – he needs a home...

Adopt Picasso: More Golden Retriever Than Cat!

Emily from Independent Animal Rescue is a painter, and so she named the three orphaned cats she’s fostering after her favorite artists. Our visitor this morning was Picasso, and we can see why he got that name: he’s a big cat with an even bigger personality! As soon as he arrived at the station, that personality was on full display; he investigated every corner, and introduced himself to everyone. Picasso is the opposite of shy, taking instantly to new people and animals. This beautiful red-and-white cat is fully grown, but he’s still a kitten at heart. If you’re looking...

Adopt Boris: A Happy-Go-Lucky Buddy

Boris is a friendly guy, who’s ready to bring some joy into your life. He has been a pet, so he’s well-behaved and loves people and other dogs. Boris was living in the country with his owner, but Boris would wander into the neighbor’s yards, and rather than bringing him in or putting up a fence, the owner surrendered him to the pound. While he may not have training, Boris is well-behaved and eager to please. If you’d like to bring this new friend into your home, visit paws4ever.org to learn more about adopting...
