UNC Softball Travels To Raleigh For Weekend Series Against NC State

RALEIGH- The No. 25 North Carolina softball team will travel to Raleigh this weekend to face ACC opponent NC State in a three game series. The Tar Heels stand 32-13 overall and 9-3 in conference play. In 2012 North Carolina swept the series with NC State and is 24-46 all time. The Wolfpack are 21-17-1 on the season and 5-6 in the ACC. BLACKSBURG- The North Carolina baseball team defeated Virginia Tech in game one of its weekend three series on Friday 21-8 reaching a season high in hits and runs. The Tar Heels started off strong with six runs in the first inning. Junior catcher Brian Holberton and senior outfielder Chaz Frank each added four hits for the Tar Heels. The Tar Heels Top Maryland In Series Opener

CHAPEL HILL- The No. 1 North Carolina baseball team won the first of a three-game series Friday night against Maryland, 12-4. The Tar Heels had three crucial innings as they tallied three runs in the third inning, four runs in the fourth innings, and five runs in the seventh inning. North Carolina exceeded 10 runs for the 14th time this season. Citizen’s Police Academy: An Action-Packed Two Days To Come

CHAPEL HILL- The Chapel Hill Police Department will meet in April to host its third annualCitizen’s Police Academy. CHAPEL HILL- The North Carolina softball team will step out of ACC play on Tuesday to face Appalachian State at home. The Tar Heels are 25-13 on the season, and 6-3 in the ACC.
